SEVENTEEN, a boy group from Pledis Entertainment, consists of 13 members and three units—Hip-Hop Team, Vocal Team, and Performance Team. The group's name signifies the unity of the members and their fans, called Carats. They actively promote both as a whole and in their units. Before debuting, they gained experience by appearing in senior artists' music videos and as backup dancers. They also engaged with fans through the internet broadcast "SEVENTEEN TV." SEVENTEEN made their official debut in May 2015 with [17 CARAT] and the title track "Adore U." From their first album, they have showcased their self-production skills by participating in producing, writing lyrics, composing, and choreographing.
